Hi, I was wondering if there are any objections to adding the edgebsd mailing lists to gmane.org, which is not only an archive but also a mail2nntp gateway? Things can be setup according your preference, i.e. - Posting allowed (default) - Read-only (for announcement lists, CVS logs etc.) - Non-public (posting through Gmane allowed for list members) - Unidirectional (no posting allowed through Gmane) Email addresses can (and probably should) be encrypted to avoid spam. I'm fairly confident you guys already know, so only a brief list of its Advantages: - easy spam marking (and thus spam reduction for others) - convenient reading with my powerful usenet client - one interface to find, search, (web)read, point to them all - Memnon -- /-------------------------------------------\ | SDF and SDF-EU Public Access UNIX System | | http://sdf.org || http://sdf-eu.org | =============================================
